Francesca Nnoka Shaw is a UK based portrait artist & musician. Her inspiration for her artwork has developed from her own personal relationship with the love of music; she herself is a double bass player, playing the blues.

'Music inspires the art, I have always had a love for Blues and all Roots music.'

 

Her passion is painting dancers & musicians from the early part of the 20th century. The aim is to create a depth to her work, with the message of translating the deep emotion that the subject is feeling through their own connection and experience from the music.
